With their long, upright stems carrying huge globes made up of dozens of individual flowers, they have a spectacular architectural quality that’s impossible to miss and admired by all. Perfect for container growing, Allium ‘Ostara’ is a compact variety, but no less impressive. Its flowers are an amazingly vibrant purple-red during May and June and will look superb with the grey colour of the planter. Alliums are recommended by the RHS as a ‘Plant for Pollinators’ and bees, butterflies find the flowers irresistible.This metal bucket planter contains everything you need to grow incredibly striking Alliums on a patio, balcony, or just about anywhere else.
