LOCH LOMOND AT LUSS HAD A COUPLE OF FLIGHTS AT LOCH LOMOND TESTING TRANSMISSION SETTINGS ON A FEW BIRDS THIS IS THE MINI 5 PRO FOOTAGE. Luss is a historic village on the western shore of Loch Lomond, long known as a place of Christian pilgrimage for over 1,500 years. Its origins are tied to St Kessog, the 6th‑century Irish missionary who preached in the area and founded a monastery on nearby Inchtavannach. The village’s scenic setting—framed by the loch and Ben Lomond—has made it one of Scotland’s most picturesque settlements. At its heart stands Luss Parish Church, a Gothic‑style building completed in 1875, the latest of several churches built on this ancient sacred site. Dedicated to St Kessog, it features a timbered roof, stained‑glass windows, a medieval font, early carved stones, and heraldic hatchments of Clan Colquhoun. The surrounding graveyard contains 15 listed ancient monuments, including a rare Viking hogback stone shaped like a longhouse. The church gained modern fame through the TV series Take the High Road, where it appeared as the church of the fictional village Glendarroch. Today it remains active, welcoming visitors daily and streaming services worldwide from its iconic Loch Lomond setting.
