I am using 6 different colors knotted together with an overhand knot- you could do the standard "folded in half" method but you will not have as many random colors in your pattern! For Six DIFFERENT colors make your strings about 35" long if you are adding clasps or 45" inches long if you want to have tying braids on either side. For three different colors/strings folded in half make them the standard 65" inches. This pattern only consists of two rows. Step 1 Divide your strings into pairs Use the left string in each pair to make a forward knot onto its partner string to the right. Step 2 Push the first and last strings aside Make two pairs and then make backward knots using the right string to knot onto the left string.
