Matthew Slater seemingly erroneously agrees to kick the ball off instead of electing to receive. NFL conspiracy? Did the Pats want to lose the game making this blunder an excuse to distract the fans? (Afterall, both teams learned by the time of OT that the Ravens beat Pittsburgh, giving the Jets the lead over the Stealers for the final wildcard spot?) Or did announcers just make things look worse when in reality the only confusion was Slater thought he could choose to kick and in which direction? You decide! VIDEO NOTE: the on-field camera DOES show the eagle side of the coin, which is "heads". My camera does not pick it up that well.
