How can this be explained if you claim that Islam is anti-Semitic? • Aren’t Jews (as ‘People of the Book’) and Christians protected under Islamic law? • If Muslim schools in the United States teach tolerance of Judaism and other faiths, and promote coexistence with Israel, how can that be anti-Semitic? • When did Islamic anti-Semitism begin, in the 20th century, 19th century or possibly earlier? • What is Islamic Jew-hatred based on, holy texts (the Koran and Hadith) or popular culture? • Do all Muslims hate the Jews? Are they obliged to? Or is this just Jewish paranoia? • Did the holocaust also persecute Jewish communities which lived in Islamic countries? • How can we understand the Abraham Accords in the background of Islamic anti-Jewish sentiments? • Why should Jews consider Aliyah if there is potential for deadly violent Islamic anti-Semitic attacks? BIOGRAPHY: Dr. Mordechai Kedar is an Israeli scholar of Arab language and culture and a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University. He is also the Director/Research Associate of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Islam at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies. Dr. Kedar is one of Israel's leading figures in understanding the Arab-Islamic-Palestinian world, especially in light of Israel’s ongoing post–Oct 7th seven-front war.
