Guest Blade: Marttiini MFK-2B -- Interesting Knife, Superb Edge

Here's an interesting Guest Blade from my subscriber Todd, a fellow-Hoosier. It's the MFK-2B from Marttiini of Finland. Made interesting by a Finnish designer and inexpensively by a presumably Asian production facility, this knife aroused more curiosity in me than I would have expected. The thinking behind the design is clearly 90's Euro, and the build quality is nothing special, but not bad. But what makes this knife interesting to me, in spite of its entry level 420 series stainless steel blade, is the amazing out-of-the-box sharpness and refinement of the edge. You've gotta see this!
