Join me as I meet up with Simon Bourne (@Si-Finds on YouTube) to go for a mudlark along the River Thames London. I find some old bottles which I am hoping Simon can repurpose into some glasses. Can he do it?! It's not surprising to learn that the River Thames inspires some marvellous works of art. It has done for centuries and it still does. I love to make collages and artworks with some of my Thames finds and you can see some of them on my website and on my etsy site: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Tidelineart www.tidelineart.com During the second half of this video you will see some other examples of work created by people who are inspired by the River, whether that be by the view, the wildlife, their mudlarking and metal detecting finds - or just the general feeling of being down on the foreshore. They paint, draw, create jewellery, ceramics and some give new life to the pieces which they pick up from the Thames mud.
