Join me as I build a bike park from scratch with limited budget and resources. This episode discusses the land and resources at my disposal, the origins of the park name, my vision for the bike park, and the goals of this YouTube channel. Squonk Bike Park is located in Imler, Pennsylvania and will eventually be open to the public as a paid-access shuttle and pedal park. It spans roughly 300 acres of mountains, and has a little over 500ft of elevation from top to bottom. Follow along as I document every part of the process, including both trail building and all of the business decisions like budgeting and marketing. This channel is inspired by a number of YouTube channels including @RyansRoadToRally, @bkxc & his Everstoke project, @cutlaps, @BackyardTrailBuilds, and probably a couple dozen other trail builders and dream chasers I've watched through the years on YouTube.
