"That's What I Want For Christmas" is a popular song written by Gerald Marks for the film Stowaway starring Shirley Temple. However, this particular version was written by Earl Lawrence and sung best by Nancy Wilson. Nancy Sue Wilson (February 20, 1937 – December 13, 2018) was an American singer whose career spanned over five decades, from the mid–1950s until her retirement in the early–2010s. She was notable for her single "(You Don't Know) How Glad I Am" and her version of the standard "Guess Who I Saw Today". On December 13, 2018, Wilson died at her home in Pioneertown, California after a long illness. She was 81 years old. When you said Yesterday That it's Nearly Christmas What did I want And I thought Just love me Love me, love me That's what I want For Christmas When I walk Through a room Let them see you Need me Walk through a room Let them see You love me Love me, love me That's what I want For Christmas Anyone can wish For all the trinkets In the window Some can even buy The things they see But the presents That I want You'll never find In any window Bring me love And bring it Just for me When you come home At night Take me In your arms And hold me Kiss me And say you love me Love me, oh love me That's what I want For Christmas Hold me Kiss me That's what I want For Christmas
