Try the Spiral Blanket Stitch! Cover your fabric with this web-like mosaic stitch for beautiful effects. It almost looks like a Stained Glass window. But don’t worry- It’s easier than it looks! Follow along as I create a simple fabric collage and cover it in the Spiralling Stitch in both black and white. I use a template to trace the outline of a bird head and fill in the background and the bird with this beautiful intricate looking stitch. After watching this video you’re going to be able to create your own mosaic in Spiral Blanket Stitch! Thread & Needle Notes: -In this project I’m using TWO strands of the 6 stranded Embroidery Floss throughout. -I’m using Embroidery Needles to create most stitches. -To create French Knots I use a Milliners Needle.
