Revised National Teacher Eligibility Test | NTET by NCISM for Ayurvedic Doctor | BAMS Doctor Salary (1) National Teacher’s Eligibility Test for respective disciplines of Indian Systems of Medicine shall be conducted by the Commission through designated authority separately for the postgraduates of each discipline of Indian system of medicine who desire to take up teaching profession in that discipline. (2) Any person who desire to take up teaching profession at any level (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Professor) for the first time shall have to appear for this examination and shall have to obtain 50% of marks to get qualified. This is applicable to the teachers of deputation also. (3) The pattern of the test shall be aptitude based & shall be focused on the teaching aptitude of a post-graduate. (4) The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing NTET shall be a post-graduate in a subject recognized by NCISM. (5) The qualified candidates shall be issued ‘Teacher Eligibility’ certificate by NCISM.
