Japan Motorcycle Trip Day Seven Vender Corner Oasis in Masuda, Shimane Prefecture to Oyahaike Campground in Sekigamecho Matsugawara, Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture Uncut HD part 1 The seventh day of a fifteen day trip from Higashiosaka south from Kansai to Shikoku to Chugoku, Kyushu, and north through Chibu, Tohoku, Kanto and back. This portion is from the vending machine stop to a gas station in town. I split the day into two parts, as the first most important part was to visit Vender Corner Oasis in Masuda which was on National Route 9 and featured in NHK World’s 72 Hours Program. I have no footage from inside there, as that was already done. I did have a great chat with the owner and filled up on that unique udon and soba. A quick stop back at the place I turned around before to see if what I saw before and heard the second time there was a tanuki or not. I had second thoughts about heading into the tall bamboo in heavy biking gear only to find out it was a bear afterall, so I ran up the hill as fast as I could to continue on to the campsite. Messed up with getting gas, but luckily the attendant helped me and I later remarked that our jackets matched. I seriously need to learn more Japanese someday.
