Paula Godoy es selectora musical desde temprana edad, moviéndose entre géneros como soul, jazz y funk. Su exploración sonora la ha llevado a experimentar con distintas corrientes musicales, siempre con un enfoque ecléctico y sofisticado. En 2018, fue parte de Tectónica Radio, donde presentó una primera residencia musical, y recientemente regresó con Exotica, un radioshow que profundiza en los sonidos del género homónimo, una vertiente del space age pop de los años 50 y 60, caracterizada por su búsqueda de experiencias sonoras paradisíacas, inspiradas tanto en los trópicos como en la vida en el espacio. En el ámbito visual, Paula se ha consolidado como una de las nuevas exponentes del muralismo chileno. Su primer trabajo reconocido fue en 2017, cuando inauguró la Galería TOC en el Barrio Brasil con Jazzy, una exposición individual basada en composiciones geométricas y repeticiones de texturas en distintos formatos. Desde entonces, ha llevado su arte a espacios comunitarios como el Laboratorio Ciudadano La Paz 482 en Independencia, un proyecto que busca revitalizar el entorno urbano y fortalecer la conexión entre los vecinos y la ciudad a través del arte. ___________________________________________________________________ Paula Godoy is a selector from an early age, navigating genres such as soul, jazz, and funk. Her sonic exploration has led her to experiment with various musical currents, always with an eclectic and sophisticated approach. In 2018, she was part of Tectónica Radio, where she presented her first music residency, and recently returned with Exotica, a radioshow that delves into the sounds of the homonymous genre—a branch of space age pop from the 1950s and 60s, characterized by its pursuit of paradisiacal sonic experiences, inspired by both the tropics and life in space. In the visual arts field, Paula has established herself as a prominent figure in Chilean muralism. Her first recognized work was in 2017, when she inaugurated Galería TOC in the Barrio Brasil with Jazzy, a solo exhibition based on geometric compositions and repeated textures in various formats.
