Cycling from London Bridge to Greenwich along the Thames Path I started my ride at London Bridge, the morning light bouncing off the Thames as the city slowly stirred to life. From there, I followed the Thames Path eastward, weaving through its many twists and turns. The route clung to the river’s edge, sometimes ducking behind warehouses and slipping through quiet cobbled lanes, then bursting back into broad, open views. Along the way, I passed iconic sights—the looming HMS Belfast, the elegant curves of Tower Bridge, and the ever-changing skyline of Canary Wharf. The path carried me past historic docklands and modern developments, through pockets of unexpected calm where all you could hear was the gentle lap of water and the occasional call of a gull. As I approached Greenwich, the city opened up again. The grand architecture of the Old Royal Naval College welcomed me, and the view from the riverbank was spectacular. It felt like a journey through layers of London’s history—always moving forward, but always surrounded by echoes of the past.
