This music video is based on a cover of the stage 4 music of Twin Cobra (究極TIGER in Japanese), made by the composer himself, Tatsuya Uemura, and his band, U-Brand. Performed by U-Brand Lead Guitar: Tatsuya Uemura (上村建也) Keyboard: Shinichi Tanaka (田中晋一) Drum: Daisuke Matsumoto (松本大輔) Side Guitar: Akira Nagatsuki (長月明) Bass: Daisuke Kikuchi (菊地大輔) Music composed by Tatsuya Uemura(上村建也) Video produced by Jean Monset Production notes In May 2022, I went to a live music event where Tatsuya Uemura was playing with his rock band, U-Brand. Uemura-san is a game programmer who made several games, also composing the music, at Toaplan during the 80s and 90s. Although I had already listened to the CD, I was blown away by "Tsugaru", the arranged version of the Twin Cobra (1987) stage 4 soundtrack. I remember immediately thinking about making a video for it. I met Uemura-san later, to propose my idea, but it stayed (remained) on stand-by for about a year. In May 2023, after meeting the manager of a local game center, where I intended to shoot a part of the video, everything fell into place quickly. The band shooting was arranged, and the additional footage followed. I am happy to present the result to you here.
