Track 9 of "LS3" (2006) Lucky Star were an Italian musical group, formed on December 5, 2003. It is the second Italian band formed entirely in a media way, thanks to the TV program Superstar Tour, produced and broadcast by Italia 1, following the success of Popstars. The vocal trio formed by Laura Pisu, Emma Marrone and Colomba Pane has to its credit the single ''Stile,'' premiered at the 2003 Italian Music Awards (IMA) show, which was quite successful in sales. The video clip was later broadcast by Italia 1 and heavily programmed on music channels. After a two-year hiatus, a great opportunity comes up for the group in 2005, performing the theme song for the cartoon ''W.I.T.C.H.''. The song is included in the trio's first album ''LS3,'' released in May 2006, containing 10 dance tracks. The album achieved very little success due to the lack of promotion, in fact the only publicity given to the album was carried out by individual band members, who performed in discos throughout the peninsula. Even the release of the song "Day to come" as a launch single, which also included the realization of a video clip, was canceled. After the group disbanded, all members attempted solo careers. Emma continued her career with the band Mjur, with whom in April 2008 she released an album of the rock-electronic genre, to promote which she would perform at various gigs throughout Italy. Emma in 2009 presented herself at the auditions of the program "Amici di Maria De Filippi" in which she was admitted. Emma later turned out to be the winner of the competition and currently has two albums to her credit: "Oltre" and "A me piace così" both very successful. Laura Pisu in 2010 appeared in the video clip "Un Colpo All'anima" by Ligabue and has shown interest in returning to singing.
