It is a 200 watt light running a Mean Well XLG 240 driver. The LEDs used in the light are Samsung lm301b 3000k ,5000k and there are also 660nm and 730 IR LEDs as well. One of the coolest parts of this light is that it is very versatile as it can be setup in a lengthwise configuration suited for a 4x2 or in a 4 wide strip light configuration, better suited for a 3x3. It allows for more uniform full coverage whatever your particular needs may be. Another cool thing is that by you assembling this LED panel kit yourself you save about 20 US dollars off the price. After assembling the LF2000 indoor grow light, we take a closer look at testing. Using an Apogee SQ520 PAR meter I make in depth PAR maps of this Lenofocus LED setup in both configurations at multiple different hang heights. When setup for the 3x3 you can see just how efficient this LED grow light is with a 2.5 UMOL/j rating. When assembled into a 2x4 setup I did notice a slight drop in efficiency but overall the light still performed very well and had an amazingly evenly distributed PAR over the entire area. After looking at the pretty impressive PAR results of the LF2000 by Lenofocus, I move on to heat testing. For the heat test I ran the light for 8 hours in a non ventilated area, with no fans, in a room with an ambient temperature of about 22C. Considering this indoor gardening light doesn't have a dedicated heat sink, it runs surprisingly cool. I am not sure if this is partly because they are using Samsung LEDs or just the simple strip light design which allows space between the PCB LED panels. In order to determine just how efficient this LED is, I also test the actual true wattage draw from the wall, which came out to 203 watts exactly after 8 hours of use. The relatively high PAR numbers and low wattage draw make this light a real competitor. One downside of the LF2000 is that there is no coating protecting the LEDs, though this has been added to the next production run. Overall, it's a freaking nice light for the price. I was impressed and would suggest this to any indoor grower looking to light a 3x3 or 2x4 area. This is one of the better budget lights I have found on Amazon.
