Mango Bay is located on the northern coast of Koh Tao. It’s a quiet and cozy spot, perfect for beginner divers and snorkeling enthusiasts. The depth here ranges from 1 to 20 meters. The western side is covered with coral gardens, while the eastern shore is dotted with large boulders adorned with vibrant corals, creating stunning underwater scenery. Diving conditions are usually quite stable, weather permitting. Visibility ranges from 10 to 20 meters. The bay itself is an open area of water with a sandy bottom in the center, surrounded by coral reefs. A small sandy beach adds a special charm to the place. Underwater, you can often spot large schools of fish, colorful parrotfish, and triggerfish. In the shallows, near the base of the boulders, stingrays can be seen resting on the sand. Mango Bay is also a popular spot for beginner courses. It’s an ideal place to practice buoyancy control, underwater navigation, or fish identification.
