Country Two Step (not so Beginner) Here in this video, you see, Jade dancing with me. What a sweet ball of energy! She was visiting the daughter of some of our regular students and this was her FIRST EVER TWO STEP LESSON! She's a former gymnast, so it's not like she didn't know how to move her body, but, I has to use her as an example for anyone who wants to learn. She came in ready to learn after only being told, If you commit to doing Quick, Quick, Slow, Slow, you've got this. You can do this!!! Great job, Jade!! We hope you come back to class anytime you're in Houston and find a place to dance near you in college! We wrapped up a great month of beginner Two-step! Thank you all so much for letting me take you on this journey of becoming a better dancer. I’m extremely proud of all of you and the work you’ve done that leads to more fun at the clubs and more partners. What we do here is with intention, we know you can dance , and make your way through a couple of simple patterns. We’re not here to just make it through. With a little effort and focus, you can learn the basic and necessary elements and fundamentals that lead to a lifetime of fun and better dancing with cooler patterns. We may not be for everyone, and that’s OK. Some might say it sounds and looks like too much work, then we’re not for you. But if you want to tap into your true potential as a social dancer, and even beyond, we’re happy to guide you on the journey. This was a mixture of some of the basic elements we did earlier in the month and later in the month, so these students did a great job of being able to accomplish what they did this month and in this class.
