Find it here - http://lon.tv/gpd (affiliate link) - The GPD XD is an interesting portable Android game console that resembles a Nintendo 3DS. It is great for retro game emulators. The device is running with a Rockchip RK3288 processor and has 2 gigs of RAM and 16 gigs of storage. There is also an SD card slot for additional storage options. It uses the prior version of Android, 4.4 Kitkat. Performance is surprisingly good for the price point. It emulates most arcade games and consoles with ease but hits its limits with the PSP and up. Nintendo 64 and even Dreamcast games are playable on it. Most of the Google Play games should run great on it. I demonstrate Madden Football in the video. It can output to an HDMI display but that's of limited utility given the console itself doesn't support wireless bluetooth controllers. The integrated controls are responsive and well designed. I especially like the mechanical shoulder buttons on the back.
