Gulmarg is a town, hill station & a popular tourist destination of Kashmir. It is about 50 km away from Srinagar. In this video you will see our journey from Srinagar to Gulmarg. This Video was shot on 24th June 2023, Below are the activities we did on this day. Tangmarg - It is a hilly area with most parts covered by lush green forests. It is about 40 km away from Srinagar and 14 km away from Gulmarg. Tangmarg is a famous stopover on the way to Gulmarg. People also visit Drung waterfall in winters which is about 5 km away from Tangmarg. Gulmarg - It is the best place to enjoy Snowfall in December to February time. This place is very famous for its skiing scenes in India. Tourists take a Gondola from here to reach the top and enjoy the beautiful view. It is Asia's largest and highest and world's second-largest and second highest cable car project, Gulmarg Gondola is the top attraction in Gulmarg. JKDTC Gulmarg - We stayed there in Gulmarg. Tariff - Rs 5700 for 2 bhk hut. Bota Pathri - It is a little known dreamland in the lap of Nagin Valley. It is about 12 km away from Gulmarg. Here more of the area is restricted & requires permission from both the police and army to visit. Bota Pathri is famous for its snow mountains, lush green valleys, and riverfronts with natural beauty. After this we visited a natural lake on the way back to Gulmarg and ended our day at Gulmarg.
