Day 7: Colombiers → Capestang → Argeliers Day 8: Argeliers → Le Somail (9 AM boat return…mission accomplished!) ✨ CANAL DU MIDI HIGHLIGHTS: 🌊 Fonseranes Lock Staircase...7 locks in a row! 🍇 Stunning vineyard views from the water 🏘️ Charming village of Capestang with fresh baguettes 🍽️ Successful risotto dinner despite our sketchy galley kitchen ⚓ Wild mooring in peaceful Argeliers for our final night 🤔 REALITY CHECK: Our boat was definitely showing its age with leaky windows, a partially functioning kitchen, and questionable reliability. But honestly? We loved every challenging minute of it and highly recommend the experience! Three distinct waterways, three completely different vibes: --Canal du Rhône à Sète: Wild and rugged --Étang de Thau: Maritime and bustling --Canal du Midi: Manicured and vineyard-lined By day 8, we were absolutely ready to be done with boat life, but already planning our next canal (or river) adventure!
