In this series: Going through all of Legacy Console Edition's tutorials ported or rebuilt in Java and Bedrock Editions, I... may be attempting to indulge not in my own nostalgia (because I only played LCE once or a few times at a friend's house as a kid), but that of others. It's fun that even old tutorials teach you all sorts of things, but prompts don't show up on these rebuilds. That might work in its favor by giving you what you need to learn but leaving it up to you to figure out what to do with provided items. In this video: I explore the TU7 version of Legacy Console Edition's tutorial world. The Java Edition version closest to TU7 is 1.0.0, so I ran Minecraft in that version for this video. There's a build right outside the enclosed spawn that has a brewing tutorial (and back in this version of the game, brewing stands didn't need Blaze Powder as fuel, a requirement added when they were put in igloos in the Overworld so you'd still need to go to the Nether to brew potions), some lava you need to brew a potion of Fire Resistance to swim in to get enchanted armor and a music disc, an enchanting table with several bookshelves (back in this version, it didn't cost Lapis Lazuli to enchant gear, but the level requirements were also the cost, meaning it cost way more levels than it does today).
