Original airdate: 10/30/2019 | On a busy street about an hour from Reading, Pennsylvania something is happening inside a store that you don't really hear too much about anymore. "I love going to video stores," said Miguel Gomez, owner of Viva Video. "I've loved going since I was a kid. It was my dream in high school to work in a video store." Viva Video in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, isn't so much like a dream but more like a venture back in time. And picking a movie here is different than picking one at home. "With a video store, when you are making the trek, you put on clothes," Gomez said. "You have to be presentable enough to be seen in public." As so many nowadays are used to sitting at home and streaming, at Viva Video you actually have to make a decision and take part in some interaction. "You're gonna be asked how it was. You get the opportunity to be like ‘this sucked’ or ‘this was amazing,’" Gomez explained. The place is the subject of a TV show pilot on the SYFY Network. One of the longest running renters has rave reviews of the place. Full story: https://www.wfmz.com/news/area/southe...
