Upon meeting the homeless women and children who had fallen on hard times in Saint Louis, Rachel R. Jackson Bramwell founded Project Compassion, NFP to empower homeless young moms and children. Her foundation provides food and education on life skills, health, wellness and financial literacy. "To me, compassion is helping someone make a change. You don’t just give something to them—you empower them." She created a solution to struggling homeless people, earning her the title of a L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth.
