When OurSecretLab are on creative, event or film duties around the world, we often find there’s a lot of time spent inside hotels (even if they are very lovely ones), and not that many minutes out+about in the beautiful surroundings. So, we took a few minutes out from our creative/event duties for Amanda and the Ophthalpreneurs/Ops25 crew, here in Sicily (Apr ‘25), to kick off our new travel short film series: Postcard from the_LAB. In this first edition, Cass (OsL/CEO – a needlessly lanky 192cm) leaves an inspirational client site visit with Andrea (kick-ass, knowledgeable and kind Sales Exec from the wonderful San Domenico Palace, Taormina/A Four Seasons Hotel), and then – against all known laws of physics – just about squeezes his svelte frame into a classic Fiat 500 for a historical spin around stunning Taormina. Joined by the genuinely, actually ‘Super’ Mario from Best Sicilian Tours, the two cruise, laugh, and dive into all the big topics: pizza, gladiators, and ancient invasions, obvs. It’s a jolly joyride through culture, chaos and charm - and (hopefully) the first of many postcards to come.
