“I studied in Brussels, but we often went out in Leuven, as that’s where most of us had student rooms. Leuven remains linked for me with good memories of partying, working and doing fun things.” Wim Goossens, architect and full-time professor at the Faculty of Architecture, says whilst looking back on his student days. He was recently back on familiar ground: University Hall in Leuven, one of the first renovation projects he worked on. Why? To help the University blow out 600 candles. For a whole year, KU Leuven is treating itself to a festive menu full of exhibitions, lectures, heritage walks and so much more. The opening number? KU Leuven Inside.
