Called the Air Max Sensation now, but for us old heads it will always be the Air Max2 C, the first and only signature model for Chris Webber one of the Fabulous Five from Michigan and Washington Bullets power forward. Unfortunately the deal between him and Nike ended up being very short, because Chris wanted an affordable shoe that everyone can buy, but Nike had a different idea delivering the most expensive basketball model at the time with latest and greatest technology like Air Max 2 and visible forefoot Air. Anyway, this shoe is pivotal point in the Nike designs and was the very first to have the visible forefoot air, I remember how expensive it was and my best friend buying it, I cant lie, I was super jealous, but happy for him too, at least this way I could try them on and look at them :-) I know its silly, those were the times. I am happy to finally have this shoe in this particular colorway, which is my favorite.
