Message From Founder President Dear friends and colleagues, It gives me immense pleasure to invite you all for the 18 th annual international conference of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India AMASICON 2022, November 18-20, at Guwahati Assam. After two long years of unpredictable & difficult times due to COVID, we are all back to our routine work with increased enthusiasm to serve the community again. In Spite of COVID we have been conducting regular training programmes and AMASICON conferences via online with great success. AMASI President, council members and organising committee have been taking all possible steps to have a great physical meeting. As you are all aware that these three days of onsite physical meeting will be loaded with scientific programmes. Live workshop on Minimally Invasive Surgery, Endoscopic, Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery will be the most attractive event. Symposia, debate, video and keynote lectures have been planned to benefit everyone. Specific courses for trainees and post graduates on different themes are also part of this conference. World renowned faculty from in and out of India have been invited. This is a rare opportunity to meet and interact with the eminent faculties during the Master Class. Organising committee is providing many awards for the best video, oral and poster presentation. This is a unique opportunity to participate and win a young scientist award. All this comes with an added pleasure of having a good time by visiting the natural beauty of the north eastern part of India. Organising committee has made arrangements to visit important places. I congratulate President Dr Jugindra, Secretary Abhimanyu Basu and Executive council members of AMASI and in particular Organising committee of AMSICON 2022 Chairman Dr Manoj Choudhury, secretary Dr.Rocket Chandra Brahma and committee members for their untiring effort and great enthusiasm in making this conference a great success under the guidance of President Dr.Jugindra and executive members..
