Cougar is an ABC Weekend Special Saturday kids movie that first came on back in 1984. It is about a brother and a sister who is left home alone, after their Dad has to take their pregnant Mom to the midwife to deliver their baby. Because they know the midwife would not be able to travel to them, because of all of the flooding that has been taking place, all because of the recent heavy rains. But the rains do not stop, and the brother and sister wake up to find that their house is now floating down the river, far away from their farm. They eventually hit an island in the middle of the river, where a cougar comes into their house. The 2 kids are very scared, but the boy has a plan that just might work. You will have to keep watching to see how it all ends. I will tell you, that there is a kidnapping that takes place, and the cougar isn't what it seems to be in the beginning.
