Raggare is a subculture originating in Sweden, which also exists to a lesser extent in other northern and central European countries. The driving of American road cruisers from the 1950s and 60s is central. Music, clothing and people are based on rockabilly. Classic cars everywhere you look. Historically old cars from America are still cruising the streets of the world today. In Falkenberg, Sweden, thousands of cars gather every year for the Wheels and Wings car meeting. All important information can be found on the following homepage: https://wheelsandwings.se/ General information about the Classic Car meeting: Warbergs Autombile Club has organized car meetings since the club's inception in 1979, but here it is the history behind Wheels&Wings that is concerned. The history here begins in 1986 when the newspaper Wheels wrote a report from the meeting on Getterön. 1989 was the first year that the newspaper Wheels was involved as a co-organizer and the meet was named Wheels nat's west, which was what it was called until 1995 1996 was the first year for Wheels&Wings and also the first year that we arranged a two-day meeting. Varberg's flying club joined as a co-organizer and the airplanes got a bigger role in the meeting, hence the name. 2012 would then be the last year the meeting was arranged at Getterön airfield and also Varberg. In 2012, Warbergs Automobile Club decided to present the Wheels&Wings concept to Falkenbergs Motorklubb and Falkenbergs municipality.
