Jamie Campbell Bower, who has recently starred in the latest Burberry ad campaign, talked about his experiences of shooting with Burberry: "It was great, I shot with Mario (Testino) who obviously shoots pretty much everything for the brand. I have been a supporter of the brand for a very long time, worn their clothes to lots and lots of things and I love their work and the fit of their suits. The tailoring of the suits. When I was offered the opportunity to work alongside and in such close proximity, I of course jumped at the chance. It was exciting, it was a two day shoot and we had fun and giggled. Christopher (Bailey) was there and I get on really well with him and with Mario. I have known Mario since I was 17 so it was fun," he explained. Model Suki Waterhouse was on hand to share her experiences of a Burberry shoot too, after she was the face of Burberry Brit rhythm perfume last year: "I thought it would be more nerve wracking than it was, everything is always very calm and relaxed because I think they have everything down. The team, everyone is friends and you gel in with that. We sing, karaoke every morning. A very uplifting, happy experience." The latest men's offerings from British luxury label Burberry Prorsum, were themed "A painter's journey." The collection's decadent fabrics and arty prints had a feel of the English dandy and more than a hint of femininity about it. Chief designer Christopher Bailey said he was inspired by the works of British artists including Christopher Wood and Ben Nicholson. "That kind of translated into these hand-painted bags, hand-painted coats, embroideries and jacquards," he said backstage after the show. The designer will soon also take on the role of CEO at Burberry after Angela Ahrendts announced she was leaving the brand for Apple. Although Bailey is widely admired for transforming Burberry from a fusty brand to Britain's most powerful fashion house, there is uncertainty about how the label's business will be affected by the change. Bailey himself however, is taking the transition in his stride: "You know, yes I am running the company but I have the most incredible team of people. I have worked with this team of people and helped to build this team of people over the last 13 years. The challenge as always, and will always be for everyone in every kind of job will be time.
