The court also said that the dogs will not return to the streets. Describing the problem of stray dogs as very serious, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan passed several instructions and warned that if any person or organization obstructs the work of picking up stray dogs, the court will initiate contempt proceedings against them... After Delhi, the Rajasthan High Court has taken a strict decision regarding stray dogs and issued instructions to the municipal bodies. The court directed the municipal bodies to remove stray dogs and other animals from the city streets and ensure that they suffer minimum physical harm. The Rajasthan High Court ordered the municipal bodies in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur to run a special campaign to remove stray dogs and other animals from the city streets.
