This fly is a brilliant pattern for trout fishing in lakes and lochs, especially when there is a slight wave on the water. Master fly tying with deer hair takes a bit of patience but the rewards and possibilities are endles. This basic fly pattern was invented by Stan Headley and in my opinion is best fished in a team as a top dropper (bob fly) with wets, diawl bachs or buzzers behind.
