Join me on my journey to Nafplio Greece, as I visit Nafplio Nafplion - the original capital city of Greece, a coastal city located in Peloponnese Greece. Come along with me as I climb up the Fortress of Palamidi nestled on the crest of a 216-meter high hill and be imprisoned by its magnificent beauty and powerful structure. Built by the Venetians during their second occupation of Greece back in the 16 and 17th centuries, the Palamidi Fortress was also used as a prison and among its walls was also held Theodoros Kolokotronis, hero of the Greek Revolution.
