In February 2020, we fly from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. We planned for a whole month so that we could really experience the culture, but also visit the entire country. We end up going as far South to Phu Quoc and all the way up North to Sapa! In this series, we share with you our experiences with food, accommodations and of course, adventure! Our first video begins as we take a short flight to Vietnam and unfortunately end up falling asleep and missing out the remaining of the day. Luckily, we walk out to the streets and end up finding some delicious eats which was a great introduction to the food that we would find in Vietnam. This was our first time in Vietnam and we didn't know what to expect. Our itinerary after HCMC is as follows. We quit our 9-6 jobs, sold all of our belongings, and began traveling full time. We left our jobs because we were unable to be with family and enjoy life. Work was taking up too much time and something had to change. We saved up for 2 years and began traveling as soon as we found a deal that would take us around the world for just $285.00. We started this #travelvlog to share our adventures with friends and family. At the one year mark, we realized that we had only scratched the surface and there was still so much to see.
