“Have you ever confessed something to God but still felt weighed down with guilt? In this week’s Bible study, we’re unpacking what Romans 8:1 really means and how to tell the difference between God’s loving conviction and the enemy’s condemnation. In today’s video, we’ll: • Read Romans 8:1 and talk about what it means to live ‘not condemned’ • Learn how to recognize the voice of condemnation • Take a practical step toward releasing self-punishment ✨ Key Scripture: Romans 8:1 ‘Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.’ This week’s journal prompts: 1. In what ways do you still ‘punish’ yourself for past sins? 2. Can you remember a moment when you clearly confessed a specific sin to God? How did you feel afterward? 3. What does it mean for you personally that God says ‘no condemnation’ over your life today? 4. How might lingering shame be hindering you from serving or obeying God? Practical challenge: • Choose one specific area where you feel ongoing condemnation, write a short prayer of confession, and then write under it: ‘Paid in full by Jesus.’ • Memorize Romans 8:1 and speak it out loud when accusing thoughts rise this week. If this helped you breathe a little easier, let me know in the comments and share it with a friend who is hard on herself.
