We start off by spending the night in a bunkhouse in Ely, MN, and put-in the following morning at the Moose River entry point. After a few portages and meandering our way through the picturesque beaver meadows of Nina Moose River, the landscape opens up for us at Lake Agnus and what feels like the true start to our trip.
