The Watch Out for the Flowers Shrine Quest requires you to meet Magda on Floret Sandbar and navigate her flower garden without damaging it to access Hila Rao Shrine (Drifting trial, coordinates: ~1600, -0500, 0050). The Shrine involves floating platforms and ice puzzles, rewarding a Spirit Orb and treasures. The quest emphasizes stealth and careful exploration, testing your patience in Hyrule’s open world. Watch Out for the Flowers Shrine Quest Starting the Quest: Location: Floret Sandbar, Hyrule Field, a small island in the Hylia River (coordinates: ~1600, -0500, 0050), east of Kakariko Village. How: Warp to Dueling Peaks Tower (~2100, -1900, 0300) or Wahgo Katta Shrine (~1600, -3700, 0100). Glide or swim northwest to the sandbar. Find Magda near the Shrine, surrounded by her flower garden. Speak to her (A) to start the quest. She warns: “Don’t step on the flowers!” Stepping on them angers her, and three mistakes make her attack (1–2 hearts damage). Tip: Visit at night (~9:00 PM, rest at Kakariko Village campfire, ~1800, -1000, 0200, 20 Rupees) for better visibility with Radiant Armor glow (Gerudo Secret Club, 2400 Rupees + 9 Luminous Stones). Save before talking to Magda. Navigating the Flower Garden: Objective: Reach Hila Rao Shrine without stepping on Magda’s flowers, arranged in a maze-like path. Path: Start at the sandbar’s south edge (~1600, -0500, 0050). Follow the dirt path between flowers, moving north, then west, avoiding all blooms. Stick to the center of the dirt path; even brushing flowers counts as damage. Watch for gaps where flowers are dense; move slowly (L-Stick lightly) or crouch for precision. Alternative: Use Cryonis (L, A) to create ice platforms in the surrounding Hylia River, bypassing the garden entirely. Place 2–3 platforms to reach the Shrine’s entrance without touching land. If You Fail: Stepping on flowers once or twice prompts Magda to scold you. Three times, she charges (1–2 hearts damage, resets you to the start). Reload your save if she attacks. Tip: Save at the sandbar’s edge before starting; use Revali’s Gale (post-Vah Medoh) to glide over tricky flower patches if stamina allows (~1 wheel needed). After reaching the Shrine, the quest completes. Hila Rao Shrine: Drifting Trial Location: Floret Sandbar, Hyrule Field (coordinates: ~1600, -0500, 0050). Puzzles: First Room: Step on the raft, which floats down a river. Use Magnesis (L, A) to grab a metal barrel from the water and place it on the raft to weigh it down, steering left to avoid explosives. Tip: Save before boarding; reload if the raft hits explosives (1–2 hearts). Second Room: Three rafts and explosive barrels block the path. Use Cryonis to create an ice pillar under the first raft to lift it, then glide (X) to the next platform. Repeat for the second raft, avoiding explosives. Treasure Chest: Before the altar, use Cryonis to reach a ledge with a chest containing a Traveler’s Shield (4 defense). Tip: Save before Cryonis; use precise ice placement to avoid falling. Altar: Walk to the altar, speak to Hila Rao, and claim a Spirit Orb.
