A hunt long overdue simply due to how much I love this Pokemon. 4 Shiny Deoxys hunted in my Emerald and FireRed/LeafGreen copies! Emerald - 8,980 Run Aways FireRed - 8,988 Soft Resets FireRed #2 - 22,208 Soft Resets (traded to Ruby) LeafGreen - 34,740 Soft Resets If you plan to do this in the future, I wouldn't recommend hunting all four back to back. Honestly, a very taxing little mini-quest. You'd think it would be motivating to try to finish off the quartet but it got very old by the third one. It didn't help of course that the overall luck was pretty poor throughout. I'm not really one to leave things unfinished before moving on but I wouldn't recommend doing this back to back, if you're after advice anyway. A fabulous set to finish off for my Gen 3 Living Dex. I don't know every way but the way I did it was use Gen 3 Mystery Gift tool. If you Google that, it will give a better detailed set of instructions. You'll need the ability to back up your save from your cartridge just an FYI. This is an expired event, from 2004. No one (and I mean literally no one) cares if you don't consider it legitimate.
