MHSAA, districts respond after football player jumps on another player in West Michigan

A 15-year-old Lakeshore High School junior varsity football player is recovering from a spinal fracture after a Kalamazoo Central player jumped on him last week. The incident happened during the third quarter of Thursday's game. Courtney Mims, the player's mother, told our sister station, WSBT 22, that her son is out of the hospital and is recovering at home.
