Mewgenics has a punishment mechanic where Steven takes control if you save and reload too much. I triggered it early and let Steven play the entire first adventure to see if he could actually finish a full run on his own. He did finish it — but not cleanly. The cats were knocked out for most of the adventure and returned home with heavy injuries. It worked, but it definitely wasn’t optimal. A human player could preserve their health much better and avoid many of the mistakes Steven made.
