Welcome back to Polyblank! Today we delve into the world of criminal art, especially from those who have taken a life. I've wanted to make this video for a while now after I found out that there weren't any good videos on prison art. I also wanted to explore the morally gray implications of liking and even promoting this type of art. Is it wrong to enjoy these paintings? There is also the true crime aspect I wanted to delve into. I've always been a fanatic of those long documentaries detailing the life of some killer. What if that could be translated into a more artsy video? This is the result. I especially adore Richard Dadd's paintings. He has an ethereal style where everything looks as though it were a dream. I find it sad that these paintings have fallen into such obscurity. I couldn't even find HD versions of some of his works. It's even worse for the prison art, half the time the date of the paintings weren't listed. Oh, and I'm pretty sure every song I used was copy-righted. Doesn't matter, I don't do these for money. I hope you enjoyed and that the video was worth the wait.
