Walkaround and look at Deluxe Double Room at Avatara Resort, Koh Samet, Thailand 2019. It’s a good resort located at the nice Ao Hin Khok Beach. This resort was under construction (spring 2019) but I still enjoyed it. PROS: I think the location is great if want to stay at a relaxed beach and still be about 5-10 minutes walk or a couple of minutes bike-ride away from Sai Kaew Beach with restaurants, 7-eleven, bars etc. The rooms I stayed in felt pretty new and was well cleaned. The restaurant was ok as well as the breakfast which is served outdoors at the beach. Staff was welcoming and helped me change room when I asked for it. Rooms at higher floors have nice mountain/greenish view. Check-in and out was smooth and staff got me a bike for rent when I asked for it. CONS: Room at the first floor had pretty bad privacy and the security cameras seemed to be aimed almost straight at the bathroom.
