On February 25, 2026, I attended the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) Financial Solvency Meeting and delivered a public comment regarding concerns about the Department’s grievance review process and oversight practices. My comment addresses documented issues related to the handling of a grievance I filed, including concerns about evidence review, procedural accuracy, and member access to the Department. I also reference communication restrictions that occurred after regulatory concerns were raised. This video contains my public remarks as delivered during the meeting.
