But what if this vision rests on a dangerous assumption? In this video, I examine the philosophical foundations of transhumanism and explore three of its dominant expressions: the Metaverse, the Singularity, and the idea that humans are merely transitional raw material in an evolutionary process driven by machines. At the core of modern transhumanism lies a quantitative worldview: more intelligence, more processing power, more capability. Yet meaning is not quantitative. It cannot be measured in terabytes or clock speed.
