This video shows Take #13 in a project to post one Atlantic Salmon Take per day for the whole of 2026. Another aggressive Take this time on the Rangarbakki Pool or The Wrong Side, West Ranga River Iceland where I travelled to from Northern Ireland in 2024. This was a shallower pool and one that allowed a lighter set up. I was fishing a Sage Method 12' 6" 8 weight Rod with a Rio Scandi Versitip Line and intermediate 10' tip. The fish took a self tied Bismo on a 1" plastic tube. You will also hear my Guide the excellent Matthías Stefánsson say he'd get the net but it meant him walking upstream about 200 metres and coming back down stream again just in time to net the fish.
