Que chimba ese vida! In April 2011 I decided to spend a few days in the Colombian coffee town of Salento. I wanted to do something that no tourist would ever do, so in a search for an authentic experience working on a coffee farm, I somehow found myself living and working for a week on a cattle farm high up in the mountains of Colombia. This video is dedicated to Edison- He is 24 years old, married with a pregnant wife and has two children, and is the manliest dude I have ever met. He oversees the farm for the owner and ever day wakes up at 4 am to milk the cows. He ropes cattle, is handy with a hoof knife, and still puts on his nice hat and show saddle when he rides into town. The week I spent working on the farm was the hardest work I've ever done, and this dude lives it 365 days a year- because come hell or high water, the cows have to get milked.
