Driving in Greece: EO51 E85 from Orestiada to Soufli / Ορεστιάδα - Σουφλί

In this video you can ride along on state road EO51 from Orestiada to Soufli in the far northeast of Greece. Looking for new corridors between Greece and Bulgaria that I hadn't driven before, I decided to give this international route a try. It follows along the border with Türkiye and is pretty much as far mainland East you can go in Greece. The EO51 is kind of an odd road. It has varying speed limits and is in part even signed as a highway, even though it's pretty much 2x1 the whole way down to Alexandroupolis. It's very wide in most places and the middle of the road is often used to overtake, even in places where it's not allowed. The weather here is pretty rough I believe, so it's costly to upkeep this road which you can also see in some places.
