ISS Timelapse - From Alaska to Brazil (18 Oct 2025)

Starting from approximately 3600 photographs taken from the International Space Station by Kimiya Yui on October 18th, we created this #timelapse. This is a long #ISS flyover from the coast of Alaska down to Brazil. The cloud cover was quite heavy, but thanks to some clearings, many ground details are visible. The vibrant blue of the Caribbean Sea is always unmistakable from space. The video covers a timeframe of 30 minutes and is therefore accelerated by approximately 10 times compared to the Station's real speed -------------- The AstronautiCAST YouTube channel is run by passionate volunteers on an unpaid basis.
